Fixed header area on Adobe Forms

Hello everybody!

I've got a quite tricky problem designing an Adobe Forms for an invoice. I need to place the invoice number on page 2 till x. I don't want to place this number not on page 1. Only if a pagebreak is neccessary, this header area with the invoice id should be placed on every page following page 1.

Can somebody tell me how to realize such an invoice field for continuation pages?

Would be great if somebody could help me with this problem!

Thank you and best regards,

Markus

Hello,

I think there are several options how to achieve this. For example, you can place the page number on the master page and you will have two of them - first one (for page 1) without the number and the second one with the number (for pages 2+).

Or you can try through scripting. You can "ask" the form element "on what page am I?" and if the answer is "on page 1", you just set the presence = hidden.

I don´t know for sure both work but I hope at least one can work, it is up to you to try.

In case you have no experience with scripting, check the guides here:
