Issue with job

Hi,

We are getting a error pasted the job log.

Internal error in document number assignment GI 526 E

Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE 00 564 A

This is a issue with the number range.But i wanted to understand exactly what the issue is and how number range works.
