FMBB - posting date in reverse documents

Former Member

Hallo,

We post a reverse document in transaction FMBB, but the posting date is protected.

We need to post the reverse document in a different posting date of its document original.

Is it possible? Is there a user exit or any way to do this?

Thanks in advance

Lluisa

Hallo,

I don´t know sure in which ECC EA-PS version you´re.

Check the activate enterprise business function PSM_FM_CI_1 Enhanced Features for Funds Management. As far as i know you should can customized in the Field Control for Budget Entry Documents, Posting Date is a changeable field.

Hi,

Normally, document date is available in FMBB for reversing. You can also use FMDOCREV if you want to reverse a document: there the FM date is availabel as well.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

We customized in the Field Control for Budget Entry Documents, Posting Date is a changeable field.

But our problem is with the field BUDAT of the document.

The date we inform updates the field BLDAT, but not the field BUDAT.

And we need that the budat field of reversing document is different of the budat field of original document.

With the transaction FMDOCREV, the problem is the same.

Any more help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Lluïsa,

This is the answer provided by our development group:

Concerning to the reversal document: This is normal to be able to

change the texts and also the document date of a reversal.

A reversal of an original document is a new document, so its date may

be different. There is no standard SAP checks on the document date.

Concerning the preposted of a reversal you cannot change some fields

even if you have open them in change mode in the customizing.

This is the case for the posting date. This cannot be changed as it

should correspond to the posting period. And the posting period of a

reversal cannot be changed, neither a reversal preposted. Imagine that

a user can also changed the amounts or the budget address, then the

preposted would not reverse the original document.

So, the customizing of changeable fields is fully taken into account for

"normal" preposted but partially taken into account for reversal

preposted (if you forbid the texts to be changeable this will be taken

into account for preposted reversal).

I hope this will help clarify. If not, please add your feedback and we will try to follow up.

Cheers

Mar
