Autom. Inspection Lot qty change (lot or.03)/Prod. order total qty change

Hi,

it seems that for an inspection lot, with lot origin 03:Production, its Inpsection Lot qty doesnt change when the Production order Total Quantity field changes. Only the Actual Inspection Lot field changes. i am trying to have the transactions QAC3 and qa02 (sample calculation) run automatically after the production order total qty change so that the inspection lot qty is changed accordingly (and the sample recalculated correctly).

We havent been able to use any of the enhancements PPCO0001 PPCO0007 because the Inspection lot is locked while the production order is in change mode.

Hi,

Please try the following solution ( if the results recording, confirmation and material consumption has not taken place).

1. go to Co02, in the menu bar , select functions --> Reread Master Data.

2. After you carryout the function, the status of production order would be again " Created". Now change the quantity.

3. Release the production order again, u will get a new inspection lot with changed quantity.

I am already aware of this solution and also of the QAC3, and QA02 (Calculate sample) procedure to update fields.

The issue is that the customer requested development for the automatic update of the inspection lot fields when production order qty changed and saved, without rereading PP Master data (status permitted of course).
