without quality inforecord is it possible certificate receipt in against purchase order ,my business senario is some imported material we dont have lab facilities so some characteristics check in our Lab some check with reference of certificate so at the GR time system asked certificate enclose if put yes usage decision will allow system or not allow for usage decision..if any body work without inforecord kindly guideme

Hi,

This is possible, you can activate certificate receipt with out maintaining quality info record.

In material master for that material do following settings :

1) Activate 'QM Proc. Active', put a tick.

2) QM control key : select a key (or define it ) with tick only at 'cert required' , see that you are not ticking 'release required'

3) Certificate type : Assign a certificate type with ticks at certi. for each PO, certifi. per gr item. If you don't need certificate confirmation at GR then tick remaining two options below.

Doing this activity system will not ask you for Quality info record, also will not ask for certificate confirmation at GR but system will ask for certificate confirmation before giving UD, it will give error.

If you need system to ask the certificate confirmation at gr and not at UD then in certificate type remove tick from 'No certti. confirmation at GR' also remove tick from 'certificate check required'. If you do this system will ask for certificate confirmation at GR and not at UD.

Pl check and revert.

thank u for ur reply i am checking in my client it is working fine but thing is in migo i am not mention any certificate enclose but in usage decision system should restricted to UD but hear system also allow for posting any setting is need tell me kindly.
