dependency in SWC

Hi,

I have a software component created and imported to IR.

I created objects under 4 name spaces of the SWCV belonging to above SWC.

Now I have provided a dependency with SAP provided SWC in SLD and then uploaded it to IR.

It should typically provide Basis tab under the same SWC ( I know and I did this earlier )...

But in real, it had imported a new SWCV with the same name and Basis objects only.

It looks like following

SWC

SWCV1 of abc.com

SWCV1 of abc.com

First occurrence of "The SWCV1 of abc.com" is one I have created and has 4 names spaces

Second occurrence of "The SWCV1 of abc.com" is one that came in after i provided dependency and imported from SLD . This has only Basis objects not the name spaces that I actually developped.

Can someone suggest me as why it acted like this?

What do I need to do now inorder to have just one SWCV with Basis objects in it?

Hi,

In the SLD Info of the SWCV are you able to see the under lying SWCV for the basic objects. ( swcv 1 and swcv 2)?

And in the basic objects should include your dependent software component versions.

Hi Nikhil,

How many SWCV do you see in SLD 1 or 2?

Check your SLD and make sure you have provided the dependency to right SWC.
