How to do DR setup in Windows environment

Hi,

We need to setup DR in Windows environment. Our system is ECC 6.0 SR2 Dual stack and database is Oracle 10g.

Primary and Standby database servers arehaving different hostnames. I have few doubts on setting up the DR.

1. In DR server, whether we can install SAP using virtual hostname option i.e sapinst_use_hostname.

and as per note 1282975, it says "Installation of SAP system ( Central system) with a virtual hostname

using Local Users is not supported for SAP releases 7.00, 7.01 and 7.10". Is there any option to install virtual hostname in Windows. Or else how we can overcome the hostname problem during DR invoke.

2. During DR invoke, whether we will have any issues in bringing up the java stack. Any pre-requisites or any configuration we need to perform to bring up the java stack. Please share your experience.

3. How we can manage the windows admin users sidadm and serviceSID in both the servers.

Please advice me.
