Purchasing Organizations Plant vs. Locations

Hi Experts,

we're facing the following problem: different locations (plants) are assigned to an organizational unit, two different purch.groups belonging to two purch.organizations are responsible for the same organizational unit, the user can then choose a combination of purch.group and location which leads to a backend error that a plant is not valid for the given purch.organization.

Is there any way to prevent the user from selecting invalid location for a selected purch.group?

Hi Tomas,

You will need to use the DOC_CHECK_BADI which you can then check against the plant and location that the user has entered and if it's wrong then send out an error to enter in a different combination.
