Images turns into different color after loading in to SE78

Hi All,

I've loaded an image.bmp by t.code SE78 (with white background) as color image.

Then calling the image in a smartform.

But, the image is showing in grey both in smartform print and se78 - image preview....

How to resolve this problem?

Thanks...

Hi,

If you use a true color graphic with more than 256 colors, during the upload of a graphic into the SAP system, SAP converts the graphic to a graphic with 256 colors (because of space and performance reasons). During this conversion some color information can get lost.

Tthe color 'white' can be converted to a very bright gray, which you don't notice on the screen, but is only during the print.

Check whether your graphic contains more than 256 colors. If so,you should convert it to a 256 color graphic before the upload? Then the colors shouldn't be changed any more in SAP.

Regards,

Aidan

Because the background isn't white...follow Nick's advice.

Hi,

I searched the forum with the terms 'SE78' and 'grey' and found the answer.

You may want to do the same.
