Budget exceeded in FR50

Dear Experts,

We have updated budget for a certain Fund center and Commitment item using the T code FR50. The same has been released subsequetly using FR51 at the begining of the fiscal.

When the users are trying to raise purchase requisition there is a error message saying budget exceeded.

We try to check the budget details now using FR02 and there is no budget details are available.

In fact we have the document number for updating the budget.

Why this error and why the updated budget is not showing in FR02.

Kindly suggest the ways to rectify this error.

Hi Ruben,

I suppose that error message is BP629, isn´t it?

You can use report BPINDAN2_NEW to see AVC Determining the index For assignable, in other words with this reprot you will see available budget for Payment - Commitment bdgt annual and index, make sure that funds Center and Commitment Item that you have budget are correct.

Payment - Commitment bdgt annual index

Funds center: 1000

Commitment item 400000

Functional Area

is referenced to

Funds center: 1000

Commitment item INT21

Functional Area

There is no budget in the budget-bearing element
