SLD Configuration for XI to BI system

Hi Experts,

I am wroikng on XI to BI Integration POC. I got one document for this. Everything is ok.But I need to Know what are things to Configure in SLD for this.

Hi,

1> Create Product and SWCV for Integration

2> Create Technical System for BI Web As ABAP giving all details of BI system

3> Create Business System as per Technical system

This will solve your problem

Hi Abhay,

You can provide the technical system details of BI system and also define a business system.

The you can configure the product and software components.

Hi Abahy,

Firstly, there is nothing like integrating XI wth some system.

You can integrate a business system/service with another business system/service but not with a Middleware like XI.

XI is a tool that enables integration of 2 or more business systems.

So, I assume that you want to use XI as a middleware to integrate some legacy system with your BI system.

The settings that you should be doing in SLD for your BI system is

1) Create a Business system for your BI system.

2) Create a Technical System for your BI system.

P.S: IS the XI you are referring to, Exchange INfrastructure? or Business Objects' XI?
