COPA document posted 3 times

Hi,

For one of the invoice document, the COPA document is posted 3 times, refering to same invoice number.

Hence the costing figures for the Invoice is posted thrice.

When i click on Accounting entry for the Invoie, the below entries are showed:

Accounting document - 1234

Controlling document - 4567

Profitab Analysis - 5678

Profitab Analysis - 6877

Profitab Analysis - 7897

The profitablitity analysis was showed thrice on the same Invoice document.

In my Invoice document there is only 1 line item. But there are 3 entries for profitablity analysis.

Forget to mention about Profitability Analysis. It depends on your line items in billing document. For each line item, you will get one Profitability Analysis document. In your case, it could have been three line items in the billing document.

It is the standard behaviour that for each and every accounting document against a given billing document, you will get one Profit Center Document and one Controlling Document. In domestic scenario, you will get two accounting documents, viz. one for customer debit and another one for CENVAT debit. In such cases, you can see two Profit Center Documents and two Controllilng Documents.
