Please check if SAPXPG_DBDEST_<Host> can be tested successfully. This RFC can be found under sm59 --> TCPIP.

If you have an MCOD then logon to the DB host and see if you are able to locate sapxpg.exe (in windows), else which sapxpg in case of unix systems.
