Changed datasource to LDAP, now what about users?

Hi Guys,

I have just changed the datasource for my java system to "Microsoft ADS (Flat Heirarchy) + Database" and connected it to my LDAP server. Now, I can see 2 test users that we had already created in the LDAP.

Now my question is, before this change, there were many users in the UME which were using the Java system and I want to know how to get these users into LDAP now. Do I need to delete these users from UME and create them manually in LDAP and then assign the roles and groups in portal again? Or is there some other way to handle this?

Please suggest.

Thanks and Regards,

Shitij.

Is the database writable? You could export the users, delete them from the database, then reimport them. If the LDAP is the home system, the UME will write the data to the LDAP.
