RFC user in SAP Mobile 7.1

Hi All,

I've created RFC user in SAP ECC.

I want to know that:

1- Do I also need to create RFC USER in SAP Mobile 7.1 ?

2- if yes, What are the roles need to be granted ?

3. Do I need to use RFC user to connect from NWDS to SAP Mobile7.1 or I can use normal Userid created in SAP Mobile.

Hi Ajay,

Did you mean a user with RFC authorizations by 'RFC user'?

The user in ECC will be the Backend user.

Data exchange from mobile client >DOE(SAP Mobile 7.1)>Backend happens via bapi wrappers existing in backend system.

hence atleast a user with RFC authorizations are required in BE for the above communication.

For users to be assigned to mobile device, ideally users should be created in DOE server as well and you need the roles starting with SAP_DOE*.

A user created in NE Mobile server(DOE system) is enough to connect to NWDS and import the model.
