What is Text Table for Sales Document Category?

Hi Gurus,

Does anyone know the text table that holds the descriptions for each sales document category?

VBAK is the Sales Document Header table and there is a field called, VBTYP. The value in VBTYP is the sales document category, where "C" = order, "G" = contract, etc.

What text table holds, order, contract, etc.?

Hello Stephanie,

The values of field VBTYP come from the "value range" of its Domain (also named VBTYP). In your system, go to SE11 ->

Domain = VBTYP -> Value Range. Ther you will see the list of possible values.

For your information; at end, these values are stored in table DD07T (DD: Texts for Domain Fixed Values (Language-Dependent))

Hi,

check DD07L for domain values (by filtering domname = 'VBTYP' and as4local = 'A') and DD07T for texts (filter as before, language if you need).

Hi Stephanie,

You can find this information in table TVAKT; you must consider the value SPRAS (language) when this table is queried.

Sorry if I contradict; TVAKT contains texts for Sales Document Types

Sales document categories are recorded, as indicated in the Value range of its own Domain.
