cant upload in SAINT for Solution Manager 7.0 EHp1 upgrade

i am trying to upgrade Solution Manager 7.0 sp17 to 7.0 Ehp1 Sp20 in preparation for the installation of SAP TAO

my maintenance optimizer is not yet configured, but i am following a tight schedule so i bypassed configuring M.O since in SAP Note 1169247, there is an option that i can download the stacks manually through download manager.

Target stack: SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1-20 (07/2009)

Source stack: 17 (08/2008)

i have upgraded my system's SPAM/SAINT level from 7/36 to 7EHP1/38.

i have also upgraded my kernel from 700/201 to 701/39.

as mentioned in SAP NOTE 1169247, i tried to upgrade my system to ehp1 sp20.

i was able to upload the components in the OCS EPS inbox. but the components does not display on the queue.

what went wrong?

Did you unpack the OCS files inside of /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in folder ?

Hi,

as Mateus mentioned you need to copy the SAR-files to /usr/sap/trans or whatever your transport directory is and issue "SAPCAR -xvf ....SAR" as user <sid>adm for each single CAR-file.
