Hi Forum guru's,
We have configured GRC AC5.3, SP10 and in the process of testing. The CUP landscape is talking to a R3 Box, XI and BI.
The R3 box is the main master user source currently and the UME points to this box as well.
The client DOES NOT have CUA and certain users exist exclusively on either XI or BI, but not on the R3 box. R3 box uses both indirect and direct provisioning, with XI and BI using only direct provisioning.
The search user source in CUP is pointing to R3, but is not picking up the users on BI and XI. What would be the best option for a search data source? A colleague mentioned that the UME could point to the SLD which would pull in users from all the systems? Is this possible?
Rgds,
Prevo.
in RAR / User Data Source / Details Source Type = Multiple Data Sources / you can define n+1 UME sources

Prevo,
It is always recommended to use a master user source in search and details data source. Most of my customers, use active directory or some kind of LDAP. You need to find a system where all of the users resides and then configure it in CUP. Alternatively you can connect SAP R/3, BI, XI to UME and selecte search data source as UME. For details data source, configure as mutilple data source.
