Insp. lot cancelled ' Stock in QI stock ; Unable to bring it to Unrest. stk

hi,

An inspection lot is set with LTCA - cancelled status.

2 No of materials are still in QI stock ( lot origin 04 - goods receipt from production )

How can we bring the QI stock to Unrestrcited stock ?

We tries with QA08 , activate inspn type 08 and lot creation desspite inspn. lot but no avail.

Also we tried MB1B with movement type 321 but no avail.

Please suggest any workaround to solev this problem.

We changed the to date to a future date , where the particular lot was sitting and then processed it for results recording and usage decision.

Check whether it is possible to change the inspection lot qty to Zero using transaction QAC1

if lot is cancel that quantity not effect ,again you will do against production order

Hi Manohar,

Whether this lot status is manually set or system generated as a result of material document cancellation? If the LTCA status is set by system, then try to find the open inspection lot through T-code QVM2.

Hi All,

I reopened the lot by going to QA02 and clicking on functions->reset cancellation.

So the lot status became REL.

We did results recording,

However, when we tried to do UD with QA11 , there is no tab for posting the inspection qty to unrestricted use.

We are getting the tab "characteristcs" where we can maintain UD code.

But then the inspection qty still remains in QI stock.

Any suggesstions ?

What is the status of inspection lot? Is it REL CALC SPRQ ?

If the LTCA status was earlier set because of material document cancellation, revoking the same lot to REL mode will not serve the purpose. Hence the qty which is lying in quality inspection may belong to the different lot. To find out this lot use T-Code QVM2. If you don't find any lot for posting in QVM2, you have to carry out 321 movement through MB1B. But you faced the problem for the same. If none of these alternatives works have a look through note 48815.

Hi

When we cancel a stock through MIGO, The stock automatically moves to on-order stock from quality stock.

Eg: you have PO qty 100 MT and you have made lot of 50 to quality

Then, Unrestricted qty is 0 (if you dont have previous stock), Quality qty 50 and on-order qty is 50

Now when you cancel that lot and refresh MMBE, unrestricted is 0, qty is 0 and on-order qty becomes 100 MT again

Now do MIGO again agains PO and generate the lot.

Hope this will solve your problem.
