Mapping the BANKN in DEBMAS

Hi, I want to delete or set the bank account number to blank, for a customer in R/3 via the DEBMAS Idoc.

If I map the node BANKN in DEBMAS to 0, the Idoc failes with "You specified an account number which is not valid."

What should I map BANKN with, if I want to delete the bank account number for a customer in R/3?

If I specify a value that is legal (12345678), it is changed.

hi Rune,

did you try using

field MSGFN with value = 003

(in the segment E1KNBKM)

the field is in the same segment where

you speficy the bank that you want to delete

?

Thanks, if MSGFN = 003, should the other segments be mapped blank or with values? How is this Idoc/segment processed in R/3 if MSGFN = 003?

Thanks! It worked with MSGFN = 003 and all the fields mapped to blank. The bank account line was deleted.
