AS Java - SAPGui error and Web log on error

Hi there everyone!

I've just finished the installation of IDES Version IDES ERP ECC6.0 EHP4. This last release one can't install ABAP+JAVA at the same time to the same instance, so, I first installed Standalone system AS ABAP and afterwards another Standalone system AS JAVA. Everything went smoothly. Now, i'm going through the Master Installation guide and i can with no problem log on into AS ABAP, but it's impossible to launch SAPGui for JAVA, it gives me the error "Java Virtual Machine Launcher" - Could not find the main class. Program will exit.

So I try to log on through the web. In the URL I give the direction: http://XXX:50100 and also I tried http://XXX:50200

Where XXX is my Java Server SID and I guess i have two instances 01 and 02, because in the SAP Manager Console, in my AS Java Server node I see two entries 1 and 2.

In SAP MMC everything is in green, so all the servers are up ans running.

Any idea about the possible solutions? oints will be rewarded.

AS Java startpage is http://<hostname>:5nn00. nn is the system number, please check directory /usr/sap/<SID>/JCnn as you mentioned it's AS Java standalone instance.

Actually if you can start SAP MC, the format you used should be http://<hostname>:5nn13, for your information.

Regards,

Hello,

What is the SAPGUI version you are using? Please try to apply the last patch of the SAPGUI for Java 7.20.

You can find in the following path:

http://service.sap.com/patches

"Support Packages and Patches"

-> Entry by Application Group

-> SAP Frontend Components

-> SAP GUI FOR JAVA

-> SAP GUI FOR JAVA 7.20

Regards,

Blanca
