Error in HTTP connection

Dear experts,

I am configuring cts+ for our EP system.

But when i am creating http connection for ctsdeploy i am getting error " query string not allowed"

data supplied by me is hostname : < targethost>

Path prefix : /DeployProxy/default?style=document

Also i am not able to test connetion when supplying hostname but if i am giving ip of host connection is successfull.

and for both scenario if i supply path prefix getting same error " query string not allowed"

Please help

Hello Dhiraj,

Does it say in the document :

Create a new HTTP connection with the name CTSDEPLOY as an RFC destination of connection type G.

Go to the Technical Settings tab and enter the following values:

Target Host: hostname Service No.: port (5<SAP System number>00) Path Prefix: u201C/DeployProxy/default?style=document

>Note: If the system issues an error message, ignore it. Save twice and then leave the screen by clicking the green arrow pushbutton.

Since this is the only occurance of "Path Prefix: u201C/DeployProxy/default?style=document" in the PDF, I think the "Note" above applies in this case?

I tries to exit by green arrow but still no progress.

still giving same error i have mentioned target host as my ep dev system

is it fine or not and also j2ee_admin for the same

HI,

Make sure you have saved twice before hitting back button.

YOu should be able to do this.

i have one more confusion that I have to put EP DEV as a target host or solman?

also prefix path not working as i am saving it twice..

pls respond urgently.

Source should be your solman system, and target should be your EP QAS or PRD.

my question is that when we create the ctsdeploy connection that hat what we have to provide :

as target host : is it Portal DEv host or solman host.

your suggestion will be very useful.

i entered solman as host name and press enter

and this is working now.
