Reached the last version

The version field DRAW-DOKVR has reached the end as we have a DIR that is at Version 99. So how do we go adding a new version? Do we need to archive the old data and if so how?

Hi,

Kindly implement the bapi BAPI_DOCUMENT_DELETE and delete the old DIR's. Then you will be able to create new ones.

Hi,

The 'Version' field is alphanumeric in nature. Hence, there is no necessity to delete/archive your DIR's. You may proceed to assign alphanumeric values(A1,A2...Z1..Z9 et-al) for all the new DIR's versions that you create going forward.
