DMS Configuration

Hi,

Mine environment is ECC 6.0(linux with oracle),i want to configure DMS on sap server,how to start the dms configuration for the same.where i will get

Hi Kumarraju,

First , you need to install the DMS server . It is available with the netweaver or ecc6 installation master .

once installed , then connect it with your Ecc6 landscape . Refer SAP Note 490877 for more details.

Hi raju,

You can configure DMS on a windows system or on a Unix system.

Theres a guide on SMP which clearly says your pre requisites and how to go about.

First take a call on how r u going about.

Anyways my personal choice would be to go with Maxdb and on a Unix server and if u r going with a Unix server then you need apache, Anci C 32 bit compiler for that and then you can start the installation of DMS.
