,ERR_SHMNOTAVAILABLE when updating to 7_7_06_15

Hi,

I am installing an APO landscape, this is the 5th install that has been carried out and the first where I am having issues updating the liveCache version.

The package I am using is lca700009_livecache-aix5-64bit-ppc-7_7_06_15, command ./SDPUPD -d LCV -u control,*********

It occurs at the following point in the update program process:

checking filesystem "/sapdb"... free disk space ok

starting installation phase of package Database Kernel 7.7.06.15 64 bit

unregister Database Kernel 7.7.04.29

and the resulting error message is:

checking unpacked archive... ok

error occured while executing /sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli -R /sapdb/LCV/db inst_reg

/sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli -R /sapdb/LCV/db inst_reg: ERR

/sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli -R /sapdb/LCV/db inst_reg: -24832,ERR_SHMNOTAVAILABLE: Shared memory not available

/sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli -R /sapdb/LCV/db inst_reg: -24993,ERR_RTEEXT: Runtime environment error

/sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli -R /sapdb/LCV/db inst_reg: 1,could not create dir:dbm/ipc

/sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli -R /sapdb/LCV/db inst_reg: 13,Permission denied

SAP liveCache instance update exited abnormally at We, May 05, 2010 at 11:45:47

The host is newly installed and has been built exactly the same as all other hosts that have preceeded this one.

I have followed the instructions in thread , but they have not worked.

Please advise, I have already tried re-installing the whole system from scratch.

Resolved.

Ownership of /var/lib/sdb/dbm was not sdb:sdba. As the meerkat says....simples :S
