Hi,
I'm very new to SAP Netweaver and Java Web Dynpro.
Having recently completed the Java Web Dynpro basics course. I am looking to set up a local 'SAP J2EE engine' on my computer, to get some practice in and have a little play around with Netweaver and Java Web Dynpro.
I do have NWDS Installed but with regards to the Local SAP J2EE Engine etc. - I've searched around and cant seem to find any definitive information on how I need to proceed or what I need to do to (what files I need to download etc.) to get this installed and set up.
PS. I have no access to SAP Marketplace at present (I'm guessing the files I probably need are there?)
If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it, thank you.
Hi Russell
You need to install SAP NetWeaver Server AS JAVA to practive Java Web Dynpro.
You can install trial vresion to practice and play around with Netweaver and Java Web Dynpro.
Refer to downlaod section in SDN : http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/nw-ce-downloads
Hope it helps
Regards
Arun

Maybe the "Web Dynpro for Java Demo Kit " thread might be useful to you?

Hi Russell
Are you a SAP customer?
The files are available on installation DVD or on Marketplace.
Thanks
Kenny
