SMTP problem

Hi,

i have configured SMTP in solman 7.0 EHP 1.

wen i try to send a mail to my gmail id and yahoo id, i am able to get the mail.

But wen i try to send to a particular domain's mail id (say nanda at xyz.com),

I am not able to get the mail.

When i check in the outbox (SO02), the status shows that mail has been delivered.

I even checked in my junk mail folder, but there is no mail.

How do i solve this problem.

Hi Nanda,

It seems like a firewall issue in primary investigation.

As you can send to yahoo, the settings in SAP is correct . It would be blocking in firewall or somewhere in network .

Check SOST , and provide the msg number (Code) and trace if available . If the code is 718 , it has been sent successfully from SAP and blocked in firewall . Also , check in SCOT > SMTP Node > Internet >Set >Adress area > put . (for allowing transmission for all Ids without any restriction) . Also check in the receing Domain , whether any restrictions for receiving mails .
