SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 SP3 Developer Edition, SAP GUI mapping problem

Hi,

i have installed the SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 SP3 Developer Edition sucessfully on win XP, SAP GUI ran successfully for the first time but when i restarted, it gives an error.

" Partner: 'sony:sapdp00' not reached

system call : connect

Error no: 10061

Error Test: WSAECONNREFUSED: connection refused

Counter:1"

i have changed the host file name to 'sony', because my host file name is sony.

1st time after installation it ran successfully but later there is some mapping issue

also i want to know, when i have installed the Netweaver , two users (NSC user and one more)got created apart from the default user. In which user i should work in NSC user or in default user to wotk in SAP. SAP software is installed in both the users.

Partner: 'sony:sapdp00' not reached

It means your SAP Application server are not running ...

Are you have management console to start it or on Developer Edition it's started from script?

Try to check your DB are running, if yes then try to find logs in work directory.

On windows usualy you can start SAP under any adminidtrator user .

hi, thanks for the reply. the problem have been resolved by myself.....i was not starting the application server
