Uurgent:Vendor comments field not replicated to SRM Comments field

Hi All,

We are entered new data in the comments field  for a vendor in XK02 and replicated to SRM by BBPUPDVD but it is not replicating in SRM ..
  We tried with other  feilds like house no..etc all are repicating correctly , only comments field is not replicating ..

Please help.

Hello,

To complete what wrote Matthew, comments in R/3 Vendor address are stored in ADRCT table (field REMARK ).

On SRM side, field REMARK exists also in table ADRCT.

Nevertheless, there is no SRM table type used in BBP_VENDOR_SYNC report to replicate those address texts data.

Hi there,

Please see findings from Development on this.

- While replicating address data from backend, we do no replicate

comment/remark field.

- When we replicate vendor data from R/3 to SRM, we keep all the

'Manage Business Partners' (BBPMAININT) fields in mind.

- BBPMAININT does not have a 'Comment' / 'Remark' field, so this

field is not transfered from backend.

- Transaction 'BP' is internal to SAP and any error here is not

catered and not a onus of SRM applicaiton.

- The replication code has been developed keeping BBPMAININT in mind.

Thus the structured, which are used to populate the values for

BBPMAININT does not contain 'REMARK' field. Lot of changes and code

is required to get this field populated to SRM. Please note although

ECC will contains many fields, however we do not replicate all the

field to SRM, but only those that are required for SRM.

Sorry I could not give you a more positive answer.
