load balancing + gateway?

In a load balancing scenario, is it possible to use GWHOST as a gateway? Customer scenario has the load balancing server behind a firewall and only the gateway is accessible. Can the gateway be used to get through the firewall?

If saprfc.ini is used with a destination of type B, the following link doesn't show GWHOST as an option, but is it possible for it to be used?

hi.

normally you are installing a web dispatcher in a dmz. the web dispatcher is the single entry point which is connected to the portal.

i don't think that you can make load balancing when connection to a gwhost.
