Hiearchy [Lookup] - Import manager

Hi All,

• I am maintaing an Hierarchy table, where Import to this table were no issues.

• In an Lookup tableA am calling this Hierarchy as Lookup[Hiearchy] ;

while loading this Lookup tableA:

- Have mapped source Hierarchy to this field, but in the Destination value mapping the values are not showing in the Hierarchy order, its showing more flat structure.

- Am I missing anything???

Hi Alexander,

I just checked as you said on MDM 7.1 SP3. I am able to see Hierarchy Structure in destination mapping values when i select destination current table as lookup table which has this Hierarchy field.

I dont think you are missing any setting as i feel there is not any setting which showing you flat structure rather than Hierarchy Structure.

I would suggest please verify in MDM Data Manager --> Hierarchy mode for this Hierarchy table, is it available in Hierarchy Structure or in Flat Structure.

Hi Mandeep,

Thans for writing In, I have checked the following

• The Hierarchy table loaded correctly, have checked in the Data Manager --> Hierarchy Mode.

• Even in that Lookup table, where I am calling this Lookup[Hieararchy] --> am able to create record manually , it showing the hierarchy correctly.

Hi Raja

Few questions-

While doing the value mapping do you also see options for adding as Branch or as Sibling?

Are you using a split delimiter for Hierarchy?
