Hello Everyone,
We have a scenario where we need to pick a file a from AS400 system and then delete the file after processing in PI 7.1.
We have configured our Sender channel as like our normal file channel having FTP configuration details and then Processing mode as "DELETE".
But we are able to pick up the file but not able to delete the file from that location. Is there any other option that I can delete that file.
We tried using specifying commands but not sure how to use those commands to delete a file from AS/400 server.
Any pointers are highly appreciated.
P.S : We have all required permissions to delete the file for the user id which we are using. We tested this manually on the server and is able to delete the file.

Hi Srini,
If i understand correctly , you scenario is working fine end to end (asuming you are not seeing any channel errors)
Is this because of the size of the file being too large and processing at AS400 server( Database system) taking time.
Can you try with archive option, just a test .Is this behavior particular to a channel- try configuring a new channel ,is there any cache issues.
Yes you can write script or OS command at sender FTP to delete.
Please refer this blog if it helps

Hi
Please check whether the picked file is processed sucessfully or not; Delete will perform only then.
Also please check the channel monitor for both sender and receiver in case any errors
