NW EHP1 upgrade

Hi,

As per note

Note 1248905 - SP Equivalence for update/upgrade to EHP 1 for SAP NW 7.0

We have NW 700 with SP21 -- which is equal to EHP1 SPS5 --> which means that I cant upgrade my NW700 to EHP1?

Because when I started the upgrade, it stopped and said

"ERROR: The Start Release configuration:

SAP_ABA : 700

SAP_BASIS : 700

SAP_BW : 700"

Any idea?

Hello ,

I think you still not getting me. Since you are already on 700 and wat to go to 701 (EHP1) you donot need to run Upgrade with SAPup. This will be done with Enhancement package installer EHPi.

Hello ,

The error that you mentioned is normally faced during the upgrade.

Can you tell what is the procedure you are following for EHP1 installation on your Netweaver system.

Make sure if you are on 32 bit system then use SAINT/JSPM, if you have 64 bit system use Enhancement package installer (EHPi).

Kindly update with the details.

HI,

My system is true 64 bit ( all ). I exactly following the upgrade guide from service.sap.com. I am starting the upgrade program from upgrade master DVD

All going well during the upgrade process, it gets stuck at INitialization phase VERSCHK_INI
