Hello there,

your question is very wide in scope.

I think you could go to http://service.sap.com/rkt-solman and navigate a little to find the topics you want.

You will see that for Solution Manager EHP1 the topics are divided among several roles, it is hard even for me to guess what technical areas is each role linked to.

As aditional information about ChaRM you can also check the SDN blogs by Dolores Correa, a good starting point is /people/dolores.correa/blog , the blog series called 'ChaRM working examples' walk you through the process of setting up ChaRM and working with a ChaRM project.
