Hi Friends,

In our production system 3 background jobs (Daily jobs) are taking more time(50,00sec).Generally taking only 12,000sec. We are facing this problem from last 3 days.we restarted the system in 29.04.2010.I don't think this will effect on background jobs.We disscussed with developers from their end no issues.these jobs are very critical jobs for our bussiness .I am giving my environment. Can any body help me out from this issue.

My environment:-

ECC6,oralce:-10.2.0.2.0,IBM-AIX-5.3

Thanks&Regards,

chaitanya.

Are you try to analyse the st03n T-code? Are you try to check the traces in St05 ? Are you try to check the shared cursor cache in st04 ?

Regards.

Chaitanya,

Without detailed information on the jobs it's not possible to find out the reason for longer runtimes. Perhaps the the jobs are working with some tables which have been growing. Or perhaps an index is missing on these tables. Provide more information on the jobs.
