NWDS to SDM connectivity issue

Hi,

We have two servers Server1 and server2 with same name but different IP address..

While we are connecting from NWDS studio to Server2 its getting

connected internally to SDM of Server1 and affecting the application on server1

We have added host file entries on NWDS desktop as server2 and its IP Address

but still its going to server1.

Any idea?

Hi Yash,

Please check the message server port used in the NWDS >> Windows >> Preference >>..

tried with ports 36xx and 39xx and host for your second server.

Hi,

Port no. used is 3601.

We are able to connect to Server 2 from NWDS but when you select the package ---> right click and deploy.....It will pop up to enter SDM password and this point is going to Server1

Hi,

Are the system number are also same? Check the port number as well.

In the windows prefernces of NWDS check and maintain the correct portnumber.

Yes, system number and port no. is same.

Actually we copied and upgraded old system from WAS 640 to WAS 700.

Now while testing the new system its getting connected to old system
