Installing SAP R/3 4.7 sr2 on ubuntu dapper

Hi,

I am trying to install R/3 4.7 with MaxDB on ubuntu dapper which is a debian based distro(I know its not a supported distro but I heard that the installation is still possible). I have installed Java but whenever i run the sapinst, it doesnt seem to run. why is that? does any one have any documentation on installing r/3 with maxdb on a debian distro?
