Travel T-Code

Hello,

We have ECC 6.0 and ESS with travel management.

The requirement is we wanted the travel admin to change the services, dates, etc entered by the employee iin the travel request if it is wrongly entered or missed out some services, etc. by the employees. And i have checked completely searched and there is no t-code apart from u201CTRIPu201D.

But in the standard SAP Travel t-code u201CTRIPu201D doesnu2019t have too many options to enter multiple services like Outbound flight, return flight more than once if the employee is entering is going on a business trip with multiple destinations.

Is there any other t-code where they enter respective details as required and the same should reflect in ESS also.

Please suggest how to proceed.

Regards,

S.Srikanth

Hi,

I may not meet with your exact requirement, but will share the design we have done in our system.

u2022 Create a Z table with four fields Delegate, employee, Start date and end date. This table holds all the valid combinations of delegate claimants and who they can enter trips on behalf of.

u2022 When a delegate claimant attempts to enter a claim/change on behalf of someone else, they have to enter that personu2019s staff number as part of the transaction (TRIP). This change will put in place a check via a custom table that the delegate claimant is allowed to do this. This will involve the business maintaining a custom table containing details of who is allowed delegate claimant access for whom.

So with the above design we can put a check and can give access of TRIP transaction to restricted users to amend the trips on others behalf. The validation can be done inn BAdi FITV_PERSNO_AUTH_CHK.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks,

Vaibhav

Hi Vaibhav,

Thanks for your mail.

But the problem is not with the authorisation. It is with the t-code "TRIP" where not more than one Services like Outbound flight can be entered if the employee is going on long journey.

The travel form will be created by employee and if he misses out any services and it is rendered by Travel team, for processing the invoices the services has to be entered in travel request. Sometimes employee misses out and because of that the payment to vendor is getting delayed.

Thats why wanted to check is there any T-CODE for entering multiple services in a travel request.

Hi Srikanth,

I am not sure of how this could be done in ECC. But this can be done in ESS.

In standard you have a role called web assistant. That role needs to be assigned to the particular employee who will change the request of traveller.

After assigning that role, there is a finctionality called "My Employees". There you have to assign the personnel numbers of the travellers.

Once assigned, the assistant can change the travel request of others.

Trust this clarifies.

Hi Rajagopalan,

From the employee perspective there is no problem, they will create it in ESS and based on Travel request the Travel admin team will issue the ticket. But there are lot of issues facing by the admin team because of last minute changes and they are not able to process those invoices in SAP.

So, we thought of giving the SAP access to Travel admin team and they can do the changes as required by them in the respective employee travel request. But we couldn't find any respective t-code for them apart from "TRIP". But it doesnt solve our problem.

1.One option is giving ESS administrators id to Travel admin and they can add employees in "MyTeam".

2. The other option which we are looking for is from R/3 itself by giving them a t-code.
