Hello Gurus,

I am trying to configure E2E for my development systems, And when i go to managed system configuration in solman_setup. I see few Dev systems and Few of them are missing. I have tried to use SMSY_SETUP and tried to define the job. But the systems aren't getting automatically created.

I have created the system manually in SMSY and when i continue with solman_setup i am getting diagnostic prerequisites aren't met completely. And when i see the error I see the follwoing messages:

1. No host found for this system!!!

2. The technical system is not well defined.

I have tried a lot, But am getting stuck here only. Please could you help ASAP?

Thanks & Regards,

Srinivas

Remove the manually created systems from SMSY.

You can have them automatically....

use transaction RZ70 in satellite systems and Visual Admin if your satellite has a java component to get your systems in the sld

next schedule the LANDSCAPE_FETCH job using transaction SMSY_SETUP.

next you create rfc's to your satellites.

Once you have done all of the above you can continue transaction solman_setup with configure managed systems area.

Hello Srinivas,

You can reference

> END-TO-END ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS

> SYSTEM LANDSCAPE SETUP GUIDE

And it will tell you how to define your technical system.

> Please check SAP Note 1010428 and check if there are limitations that may affect any of your systems.

I hope this information is helpful.

Regards,

Paul
