No WM Posting Change created after Usage Decision for B stock

We receive Material X directly into Q status from a PO and an inspection lot gets created.

I am able to perform a Usage Decision and post it directly into the bin.

Now we need to receive and perform Usage Decisions on Customer Stock (B stock) from a PO.

The inspection lot gets created but the "Inspection Lot Stock" Tab doesnt show, and when I perform the UD it doesnt create a Posting Change nor does it post to the Warehouse, in fact nothing happens just that the UD is complete , there are no IM movements.

I have configured WH - IM interface to reference movement 321 B for this action. So when I do MIGO Transfer and manually perform 321 B it moves the stock automatically.

This tells me that the WH / IM config is correct but something is missing on the QM usage decision/ inspection lot side.

Please help.

Just wanted to update the thread.

I got a message back from OSS .

QM does not support usage decisions for B stock, you will have to perform 321 B manually do get it out of Q status.

In fact the system is designed in the way, that only inspection lots,

which are created for SOBKZ (special stock indicator) = BLANK, E, K

or Q, can be stock relevant. This 'hard coded' and cannot be changed

in standard. This was a decision during design of the QM-module.

This means for all other cases: The inspection lots do not manage

the stock. The consequence is then, that the stock-posting cannot

be triggered in the usage-decision, but has to be triggered with a

corresponding transaction of the IM-module (MB*). This is SAP standard.

If you really want to do stock-postings in the usage decision for

such inspection lots, you may check, if a corresponding follow-up-actionfor the usage decision can be written. If you really want, that the

inspection lots are stock-relevant, modifications would be necessary.

Please check in materail master, QM view, Insp set up, for that insp type, "Post to insp stock" indiacator is set.

Please see my message , I stated the QM process for unrestricted stock works perfectly fine.

The usage decision is not working for Customer Stock (B stock) only.
