MD04 - Exception column

Hi,

For the transaction MD04, in the Exception column, i have the value 26 - Shortage in individual segment for the line with the sale order/position. Why? What means this value 26 - Shortage in individual segment? What should i check to see if everything it's ok.

Hi,

MD04 is normally used by planners.

The meaning of 26 is that while working with an individual segment in MRP (like Customer Order or WBS), a situation of material shortage exists, that is from a planning point of view, meaning that there are uncovered requirements.
