Order Cannot be delivered(see long text)

Hi,

while doing delivery for the 2 line items its showing below error and message.

Only 0 NOS of material 7000006909 available

An item with no delivery quantity is not permitted. Item will be deleted.

Order cannot be delivered (see long text

Message no. VL461

so what could be the possibilities and where i can rectify my mistake.

Hai,

Please check the material reserved for the orders created in the earlier through the MD04 transaction.

For your error the system does not accepts the delivery untill unless you had cleared the earlier sales order that should be delivered or it should be short closed .

So short close the unwanted orders by inserting the reason for rejection at the sales order item level (then the system status will show as the completed one)

Then check and confirm,.

1. Check the stock in MMBE for the material

2. If stock exist ,check the schedule for delivery for the material

Hi

See the stocks position In MMBE

See in the sales order which storage location is determined based on that storage location see the stock postion.

or elese see the schdulines in sales order for the both the line items and give that date in the delivery date colum.

Ex: First line item :03.05.2010

Second line item : 05.05.2010.

So give the delivery date is 05.05.2010. then you can able to do the delivery.
