E-Sourcing on Netweaver AS Java - Are Multiple Nodes Supported?

Former Member

We run E-Sourcing / CLM on a Netweaver AS Java stack. Currently, the Netweaver stack only has 1 node, containing the E-Sourcing application on it. Does E-Sourcing support multiple nodes to perform some load balancing duties on the same stack? Or does each node require its own hostname alias to be used in the cluster?

Our final end point goal would be: 1 host server, 2 java nodes, each with it's own E-Sourcing application running as part of the same cluster.

If anyone has any knowledge of this possible configuration I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Derek,

We are also running on NW AS Java stack. We tried this and couldn't get it to work. We could log in sometimes and not be able to log in at other times. We think that if it hit the old node it would work but when it hit the newly created node it would not. After the new second node was deleted it then worked all of the time.

We would like to use your approach but don't know if additional configuratio is required or what else may be required to get it to work. Have you had any success with this?

Hi Derek,

Never tried this, but it should work. as ESO is similar to irj service deployed on java stack.....

I hope you won't require any special configuration..just need to change the port in ESO link
