Search problem on CUP

Hi,

We having a problem with the our search results in CUP which does not return the correct values when searching for users whilst creating a request. Our User data source is linked to SAPHR.

1) Firstly the number of results that is returned is not correct.

2) We can not find some users when searching for usernames, but they appear when we search for lastname.

3) When we search for username XYZ the system does brings about many other users aswell. Only when we search for the user by first or last name does it bring up one result (i.e. username XYZ).

Please advise.

I don't have SAPHR so I won't be able to test this. As far as I remmeber, the user search to SAP HR used to be case sensitive and used to have some issues. Which SP level are you on? Check out OSS Note # 1233201 and 1355543.
