Hi Murli,

I have rechecked the file, there is no issue with it, perhaps you do not have MS Excel? If not, save the file to the desktop and open it with notepad, then you should see the content

Hi All,

Please do let me know do we need SAP CCM for external catalogs.I guess no. Pls correct me

Only if we can define the web call structure that would be fine?

Also how the OCI mapping is taken care in this case.

Thanks,

Hi Murli,

You are correct. We do not need SAP CCM for External Catalogs.

Open Catalog Interface (OCI) enables the data exchange between the EBP/SRM and external catalog applications.

OCI enables the transmission of selected goods and services from an external catalog to the EBP/SRM.

The external catalog is located either within the Intranet or somewhere on the Internet. SAP's Open Catalog Interface uses standard Internet protocols.

The OCI interface contains inbound and outbound parameters.

Hope this answers your queries.

Hi,

OCI mapping definitions are contained in the OCI Documentation attached, the information contained in this document should be provided to the external catalog vendor so they know the format in which SAP expects the return data and the method in which we access the external catalogs.
