Multiple host adapter framework caches in PI 7.1

When I go look at the caches in my PI system, I get multiple host adapter framework caches. That is, when I navigate to http/<host>:50000/dir, then select "Administration" in the upper right hand corner, and then select "Data Cache Overview" I see the following:

af.<sid1>.<hostname1>

af.<sid2>.<hostname2>

Integration server (ABAP) --> this is fine

Mapping Runtime Java --> points to <hostname1>

Mapping Runtime Java --> points to <hostname2>

I just did a system copy (export/import) and I changed all of the parameters. Unfortunately, not soon enough.

Any help is appreciated...

check the CIM in the SLD for this.

Select XI Adapter Framework from CIM Class Instance.

look for duplications in the associations

Thanks for your quick reply. I checked and the target system (Homogenous system copy target) is showing as in the domain of the original system.

Can I just delete the adapter engine entry for that incorrect server and restart the J2EE engine?

Yes. the details will be re-registered when it comes back up.

Dumb question:

Do you delete the integration server under the SLD technical systems? That is, "Integration Directory, Adapter Engine, Integration Repository, and RWB (these are all that shows up). If I delete the adapter engine there (it is assigned to the wrong domain), is that the right way?

Or do you do it in the "CIM Instances" --> Class --> XI Adapter Framework (3) entry for the wrong server domain?

Just the incorrect entries in the Adapter Framework

but if you delete everything, rebooting the server will register the products again

if not, see:

Sorry, I don't get what you are saying. Are you saying delete the associations under "CIM Instances" for the class "XI Adapter Framework" for the incorrect Adapter Engine that is in the wrong domain (domain of server that was exported from)?

Or from the technical systems --> process integration systems --> Adapter that is the wrong domain (shows the adapter server then the wrong domain right next to it) and delete it?

personally i would delete all the CIM entries and re-register the products by rebooting the system

those two notes help if anything does not register properly.

That did it. Thanks!
