Email Notification.

Hi Experts,

I am working SRM 7.0 Process Controlled workflow.

Working on Confirmation of Goods/Service ( BUS2203) workflow. My requirement is when ever we create a confirmation for PO i need to send an email notification to requester and no approval is required.

I am not sure about the procedure to do this. In my case i need only email notification and no approval.

Any suggestions, please let me know.

What is your process flow? SC -> PO -> Confirmation? or PO -> Confirmation?

Who will create a confirmation? What is your deployment? (Classic or Extended Classic or Standalone)

Hi,

My process flow is SC-> PO -> confirmation. After confirmation creation i have to send an email to requester ( SC owner) stating as confirmation has been created.

I don't think standard alert frame work can do this.

Hi,

Who does handle confirmation process? SC Owner or Internal Dispatcher? How about sending approval workitem to SC Owner when Internal Dispatcher creates a confirmation?

Hi Masa,

Internal Dispatcher will handle Confirmation process. They do not want any workitem. They need only information email for that.

How about enhancing the method when "Confirm" button is selected?

or

How about sending email from BBP_DOC_SAVE_BADI or BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI?

Hello,

For auto approval of confirmation, activate the BC Set /SAPSRM/C_CO_600_000_SP04 using transaction SCPR20.

For email, you can use

1. Alert framework : Use standard event for approved & Create event schema for confirmation BUS2203 & assign to transaction type for confirmation.

2. Notify Rceipient functionality : Central Receipt processor can send e-mail to requestor.
