SAP MDM unused languages removed. Need to modify import maps.

Hi,

We are implementing SRM-MDM Catlaog 3.0. We have removed unused languages from the repository and now we have to remove fields of the deleted languages from Matching Fields in import maps LT_Currencies and LT_UOM_ISO_Code. I am trying to do ot but after pressing "Remove" button in matching tab, it is not removing the fields.

Please suggest.

Hi,

This is little tricky; Try following:

1. Click on any field available for matching in the matching Fields tab of import Manager.

2. Press CONTROL + A. This will select all available matching fields.

3. Now press "remove" button. This will remove all matching fields.

4. Now add required fields for matching one by one.

Hi Anshuk,

You can select all the fields in matching tab using Ctrl + A and then remove. this will remove all of your matching fields. Now select matching field one by one as per your requirement.

Hi All,

It seems like I can't add the Currency Description matching fields. I selected all fields through CTRL + A and removed it but now it is not allowing me to add those fields. Correct me if I am using the wrong approach. I am opening the map through Import Manager.

Hi,

Try following:

1. After removing all fields save map using "Save update" option.

2. close and reopen import manager.

3. Add the key field first as Matching field in Matching fields tab and then add description field..

4. Again save map as using "save update" option.

Try it and let us know the result.

Also check if for Description field all the value are mapped or converted.

Hi,

I selected the Description fields with removed languages all together and removed them. When I was trying to remove all of them and add again, system was not allowing to add Description fields.

Description fields are converted and not mapped as they are not look up.
