Smartform Translations into Russian languages - Incorrect Code Page

Hi,

I am getting the following error message 'In Correct Code Page' during translations through se63 from source language 'EN' to 'RU'.

I have gone through forums and found that 'RU' language should be setup as target language. This is also setup in my system. Problem still exists. We don't have RU language installed on our system.

It looks like the problem is coming from the FM - SCP_ALLOWED_LANGUAGES which is checking for installed languages from Kernel.

Can any one please help in this? Is that language 'RU' necessary to be installed on the system to enable russian translations in SE63 or is there some thing that need to be done in kernel parameters. So that I will check with my basis team here.

Hello,

The language into which you would like to translate needs to be

installed in your system. "Installed" in this case means set up

with report RSCPINST. You will find all the details in SAP note 42305.

hi,

you can try the below option,It may help you.

Goto SAP logon pad , select your system and click on changeitem-> advanced. A pop-up will come, in that uncheck the default code page option and select language as 'RU' , save and logon again. Now check in SE63.
