Reminder that confirmation is needed

Hi

We have a requirement that an email should be sent to the SC creator or Purchaser reminding him/her that a the delivery date has passed and a confirmation has not yet been created in the system.

Is there a standard workflow or alert supporting this?

Only development ...but most customers wants this reminder.

Hi Audra,

We did such a development. Let me know which kind of scenario(Classic & Extended Classic) you are into?

We did this in classic scenario, Meeting such requirement will become bit complex in classic as the Source of Truth for PO is ECC and when a you look for the Creator in one of the cases by checingk the PO/PR tables in ECC, PR contains the Preparer or Requestor of the SC which you can use it for sending the Reminder. In case of PO it becomes tough you need to create an RFC FM to send the PO details to SRM and from there send the PO details to fetch the SC associated with it and from there we can get the Requestor of the SC to send the Reminder.

Need help or guidance on this topic.

Requirement is to be able to send email notification/reminder to the Requester, reminding him/her to perfomr Goods Confirmation/Goods receipt for Purchase Order once the Requested Delivery date has expired. Are there any standard reports that can be used to achieve this task.

Version details: SRM version 5.5 SP18 (Extended Classic)

Can you please share some details of what was done.
